Path of Exile Item Upgrading
In Path of Exile, item upgrading is one of the most effective ways to upgrade your gear without relying on big-ticket drops or trade. This article will show you how to upgrade your items efficiently.
Upgrades to equipment give a bonus on the item's stats. This bonus is based on the upgrade component's level and rarity.
Components
Upgrade components can make your armour and weapons stronger. You can acquire them by fighting off enemies, locating them in spheres of items or purchasing them from karma sellers. You can also salvage them from equipment that has the components or through salvage kits of high-end quality, such as Black Lion Salvage Kit and Ascended Salvage Tool. Unlike most other items upgrade components, upgrade components aren't destroyed when removed from an item.
Upgrade components are primarily used to upgrade an item, however, they can also be used for other purposes. They can be used to increase the level of an upgradeable item or they can be used to boost the amount of experience gained from upgrading an existing weapon or piece of equipment. They can also be made to give additional bonuses. A glyph that is crafted can boost the chance of upgrading its target while an upgrade boosts the attack or defense capabilities of a weapon.
You can bind an upgrade template to an item by selecting it from the edition GUI. This will display a list of upgrade components that the item can be upgraded to. You can also make use of the workbench to choose an upgrade template. In either case, the item will be upgraded when enough upgrade components have been collected.
Each component has a unique experience multiplier. This determines the amount of experience an item will gain when upgraded using that component. For instance, organic components offer a higher experience multiplier than mechanical ones. It is therefore best to upgrade with organic components until you have reached the experience multiplier for the next rank of weapon or gear, and then switch to mechanical upgrades.
In addition to the multiplier for experience every item also has a maximum number of upgrades it can receive. The number of items that can be upgraded is determined by their upgradeable rank and the type of upgrade they can receive. The most powerful upgrade is a weapon that is 10th level. The most common weapon upgrade is a tier 6 gun and an armor upgrade of tier 5.
Sets
A set is a set of items which all have the same bonus. Each item can be upgraded at the minimum once. The upgrade boosts the guaranteed bonuses. When you first upgrade an item or set piece, it will receive a +1 increase to its primary stat. Following upgrades, the primary stats will be increased even more (for instance, +1 for 12+/13+/14+) and each time an item is upgraded one of its stats will increase randomly.
Upgrades to a weapon may increase the damage base, which can be necessary for certain builds. However, weapons can't be upgraded to have a higher defense level than their normal base. It's possible to increase the value of specific sets and unique items by upgrading them, but they may not always be superior to a high-level Runeword.
If you're upgrading an item that has bonuses, the item can be rerolled a single time and the guarantee will reset back to 0. The same amount of power dies are used to reroll an item as it is used to increase its level. However the new item comes with different bonuses. Upgrades can be made at the NPC [Armor] Boboko in the Central Flarine. To upgrade an item, you'll need a power die of each kind (Dice 4 or 6 drop from monsters 21+ and Giants; dice 7 drops from bosses) and the appropriate amount of Minerals and Erons. They can be purchased with Gold at the crafting table or in the Ultra Collection. The NPC will also provide an additional reward for every tier that is completed of the upgrade process. The reward can be rerolled one time, using the same materials and components as the first item.

Rerolling
If the player has enough to reroll tokens, they are able to roll any item they've acquired during the game. When an item is rerolled it will be replaced with the same level in another set. Reroll tokens can be bought from the store for an amount of in-game currency, however they cannot be refunded. The new item will offer the same bonuses like the first, however the stats will differ.
In addition to rerolling objects, players can also change the identity of any equipment by engaging with an upgrader NPC. This will change its identification from a weapon to an armor or reverse the process. The base requirements and stats will remain the same. The change is permanent and will affect all characters who own the gear in question.
Players can also boost the level of an item equipped equipment by obtaining upgrade components and communicating with the upgrader NPC of the item. This will cost a set amount of crests and Valorstones dependent on the upgrade track and item type. In visit the up coming document of weapons, each upgrade will add 5% to its damage.
Upgrading an item can boost its power, but it will also lower its quality. Therefore, it is crucial to keep both in check. Certain items aren't worth upgrading, while others require upgrading to reach their full potential. For example an individual player may want to upgrade a piece of breakpoint armor that has an interesting modifier ( percent chance of blocking or FHR) to explore the possibilities of what it can be.
The primary reason people reroll in Genshin Impact, or in any gacha-based game, is that they're trying to acquire a certain weapon or character that they aren't able to obtain. These items can be costly and time-consuming to acquire and the RNG does not always work in a positive way. The only options is to shell out real money or grind for a long time. Rerolling is a popular feature in Genshin Impact.
Leveling
You can choose whether to upgrade the weapon or armor after upgrading an item. This feature isn't available in the current version of the game. I believe this feature was created to increase the value of expensive and rare items. However, since most gear is replaced fairly quickly, and it can only be upgraded by one level, you'll typically replace it before it gets too old. It is also not worth upgrading items with gem sockets because the power of the gem will outweigh any increment in the level of.
When you click on the upgrade option on an item, you'll see a small window with the upgrade template for the item and the crest and Valorstone costs to increase the item level. Armor and weapons have different prices, with the latter usually being more expensive. The upgrade template lists the stats that can be added to an upgraded item along with its current base ilvl.
The Crest and Valorstone costs are calculated by analyzing the current ilvl of the item and the upgrade template. In addition the ilvl of a new upgraded item will be reduced by the template's lvl reduction percentage. For example the weapon that has an increase of 8% will decrease its ilvl by 8 - 8%.
In addition to the base ilvl increase, the item will also receive upgrades in other stats, such as critical strike damage, damage from PvE and dodge, block, and parry rating. These upgrades are also based on the upgrade template.
In the upgrade template, you can check the amount of damage or defense the item will receive after being leveled up. This is listed below the cost and upgrade percentages. All weapons and armor that are not practice equipment get these stats once they've been leveled up. The market determines the value of these stats. A weapon or armor that has perfect rolls can fetch more than a non-upp’d version. The same applies to other pieces of armor like tiaras and circlets.
