World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The feature of upgrading items allows players to upgrade their existing equipment. This can be done at any upgrader NPC.

Armour
Armour is among the main factors that keep Link safe from harm in all situations. Although it cannot be upgraded like weapons, you can still improve its defence capabilities in a variety of ways.
Armour is designed to shield people or animals from injury or harm, whether it's from a direct physical attack or from a variety of hazards posed by the environment or activities. The upgrade components themselves are a combination of components that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to grant an attribute bonus or additional effect when they are in use. They require equipment to be of a certain degree to allow the upgrade. They can be upgraded in the same manner as other items.
The upgrades themselves are a mix of Smithing Stones and Runes, and they are used to improve the base stats of a weapon and enhancing its scale with other stats. They can be obtained from enemies that are dropped into the open world, bought from certain merchants, or obtained through drops during combat.
Two NPCs can upgrade your weapon: Blacksmith Hewg, in the Roundtable Hold hub zone and the Smithing Master Iji located in the Road to Manor hub zone. Both of these NPCs will take your Smithing Stones and Runes in exchange for a higher-level version of the weapon and an upgrade.
It's essential to prioritise upgrading your top-of-the-line items first, then items that you won't need to replace soon. Upgrade your weapon first, and then upgrade your chest, shoulders, hands, and feet in case you intend to play a melee build. Similar principles apply to Magic and Utility Items, with the caveat that some items may be better than others based on the style of play you prefer. Armour is no different, with some reforges better than others.
Magic Items
A character can only upgrade one item of magic. If an upgrade plan is cancelled, any subsequent upgrades for the item won't begin. Upgraded magic items cost twice as much gold to make or purchase, however they may provide other benefits.
